From the Airport:
Find highway A1 and go in the direction of Rome (Sud=south). Exit at Firenze Sud, pay your toll and continue straight until you see the sign
to Bagno a Ripoli, turn right and go down to the mainroad, turn right (only way) towards Pontassieve, continue straight passing Bagno a Ripoli
(don't turn), continue through Candeli and Vallina.
After the third traffic-light in Vallina, take the right fork, following signs to
Villamagna and Case di San Romolo. You are now on 'our' road, which will take you to Torre Rossa, keep on for approx. 3 km and you will find
Villa Torre Rossa in front of you, it's a big red villa with a tower, nr 59-63 on Via S. Romolo. Ring the bell and our house-keeper Perera will
open for you. Welcome!!!
By car from any direction outside of Florence:
Find high-way A1 and go in the direction of Rome (South). Exit at Firenze Sud and follow the directions as above from the airport.
From Florence (city):
You'll need a city-map. Find the river Arno, go east and on the north side of the Arno you'll find Lungarno del Tempio, which turns into
Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo, continue straight on this road until you'll pass a traffic-circle with a statue of a man with an umbrella,
continue 2-300-meters after the statue, then turn right towards High-way A1 and Bagno a Ripoli, continue up on the bridge, take the 2nd exit
on the right direction Bagno a Ripoli.
Go down to main-road and turn right (only way) towards Pontassieve, continue straight all the time,
you'll pass Bagno a Ripoli (don't turn off the main-road), continue through Candeli and Vallina and after the third traffic-light in Vallina,
take the right fork towards Villamagna and Case San Romolo.
You are now on 'our' road, continue 3 km until you'll see Torre Rossa in front
of you at Via San Romolo nr. 59-63. Ring the bell and our house-keeper Perera will open for you. Welcome!!!
